On November 27, 2010 the Center researchers Anastasia A. Banschikova and Alexander V. Pakin took part in the 6th International "Knorozov Readings" held at the Russian State University for the Humanities in Moscow.

The paper by Alexander V. Pakin, "Black Conquerors", discussed participation of people of the African origin in the conquest of the New World. The paper by Anastasia V. Banschikova dealt with the use of numbers by ancient authors in their descriptions of the events of transitional periods in Egyptian history.
