The 3rd International Conference on Business Management and Economic Development (ICBMED) took place in Arusha, Tanzania from November 7 to 9, 2024. This event was organized by the Tanzania Institute of Accounting, which operates under the Ministry of Finance and collaborates with the Institute of African Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The central focus of the gathering, which united scholars, skilled professionals, government officials, business leaders, and students from countries such as Ghana, Kenya, Lithuania, Russia, Tanzania, and Eswatini, was the harnessing of creativity and innovation to promote sustainable development. Among the keynote speakers at the event was Dr. Nadezhda Khokholkova, a Senior Research Fellow at the Center for History and Cultural Anthropology, who delivered a presentation titled “Digital Transformations in Sub-Saharan Africa: Challenges and Prospects”.
