“South Africa today: to what extent has the country achieved the goals of the liberation struggle?”

Prof Vladimir Shubin took part in the Inaugural Colloquium “South Africa today: to what extent has the country achieved the goals of the liberation struggle?” held on 7-9 April in Pietermarizburg by the Mzala Nxumalo Centre for the Study of South African Society and presented a paper on “’Emerging Powers’ in the polycentric word”.

During his stay in South Africa he also had meetings with Dr. Bonginkosi “Blade” Nzimande, Minister of Higher Education and Training, Aziz Pahad, Chair of the South African Council of International Affairs, Dr. Сlaudious Сhikozho. Research Director of the Africa Institute of South Africa and other officials and academics.
