All the Center researchers gave papers at the 11th International Conference of Africanists held in the Institute for African Studies.
The Center Curator Dmitri M. Bondarenko convened the panel "Africa and the World: Intercultural Communication, Interpersonal Relations and Governmental Politics"; the Department of History Chair Artem B. Letnev convened the panel "History: Peripetias of Development in Africa: Past and Present".
