The Center’s researchers returned from fieldwork in the Republic of Zambia
On May 13 – 30, 2010 a team of Russian Cultural Anthropologists from the Institute for African Studies conducted fieldwork in the Republic of Zambia (in the cities of Lusaka and Livingstone). The stuff of the expedition headed by Dmitri M. Bondarenko included: Oxana V. Ivanchenko and Oleg I. Kavykin.
The study was conducted in co-operation with the University of Zambia and was supported by the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Zambia.
The research was made into the inter-racial and inter-ethnic relations among Zambian students. A number of professors of the University of Zambia were interviewed and questionnaires filled out by the University students were collected.
